Are you bringing home your little pup? Congratulations! You need to understand that having a pet is a huge responsibility and you have to take utmost care of your puppy. Before you get your pup home, you have to make the house dog proof. Make sure that all the plastic bags and detergents in the kitchen are stored in cabinets that are locked. The dishes and cutlery should be kept away from your pup’s reach and train your dog to stay out of the kitchen.
You will also have to make your bedroom, dining room and family room dog-proof. The rule is; anything that is kept out of children’s reach should be kept out of your pup’s reach too. To train your dog to stay away from beds and couch you should use foul-smelling repellent or pepper spray. In the bathroom, keep air fresheners and medications away from the pup. Never leave the toilet seat open.
